Pretty nice idea. I think the face and the butterflies could use a bit more work though.

nice colors and composition. i'd suggest more work on the face too. also, notice how certain parts of the image are very blurry while others are very sharp? that's something that makes the image as a whole appear inconsistent. i'd suggest planning which parts you want to be at the center of attention when the viewer looks at the image first, and choose to do those most detailed, because that's what grab's a viewer: detail and sharpness. post more stuff!
